About Devlin Geisler
My name is Devlin Geisler. I am a self-taught photographer. I'm a student at Hall-Dale High School right here in central Maine. I have volunteered at the Children's Discovery Museum in Augusta for the past 5 years, helping at there summer camps, date nights or over vacation when it's very busy. Two years ago, they named me their volunteer of the year through the Rem awards and I still couldn't be more thankful. I have volunteered at the local after school program with elementary-age kids as well. I'm also an active member of girl scouts, I have recently received my silver award, was on the youth volunteer roll of honor through the state and am in the process of starting my gold award.
Ever since I was little I've loved taking photos. Of my friends, of the places I was visiting or my family, specifically my adorable little cousins. I love the naturalness of taking photos of my friends when they are laughing, talking, or just being goofy. I could say the same for my cousins, there faces while playing and just the goofy moments while they are playing that no one ever really gets to capture.
I received the camera of my dreams this past Christmas (2018), with help from gift cards from family, and lots of saving, and ever since I have wanted to use it non stop. From mini photoshoots of my friends or the super blood wolf moon to pictures at Maine Maple Sunday, to one of my cousins birthday party. I absolutely love the world of photography and would love to capture wonderful moments of you, your kids, or your events.
